wedding time.

I love weddings. I think its the way the groom smiles as he watches his soon to be bride walk down the aisle, or the way the Bride looks like a princess approaching her prince, and then how after the ceremony we all can celebrate this couples new covenant commitment to one another over food and fellowship.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. (Rev. 21:2)

I love how the Bible portrays the church as the Bride and Jesus as the Groom. We one day will be this beautiful, we one day will be looking like a princess coming forth to her prince and our soon to be prince will be smiling with arms wide open ready to take us home.

I am so thankful this past semester to have attended so many wonderful friends weddings, so thankful that I could be there to witness this amazing thing called Marriage, I pray for the newly married couple, Rachel and Brandon Lutz, I am so thankful that I was there yesterday to celebrate the amazing thing God does to bring his people together!
