Three of us from RUF @ UCF traveled to Panama City Beach, FL for our annual Summer conference, RUF students from all different parts of America come together to worship, learn and rest together.
The conferece was very refreshing (if you are a college student and reading please go next year, well worth the cost and energy to get there!) There were seminars on everything from dealing with your Idols to why the Bible is true to Christianity in Art. The nice part was that in the morning and evening you were in sessions or hearing sermons, but in the afternoon was a time of fellowship and relaxing. The Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center was right on the beach..so needless to say there was plenty of swimming, kayaking, sailing and hanging out with about 900 other college students.
I was even able to meet the LSU RUF gang. It was very encouraging meeting these students, they immediately made me feel welcomed and loved. Meeting the students that I will be working with was just what I needed, it will definately help me push myself to get all the support raised...because now I want to get out there so much more!
